Nice Rides with any number of wheels or even no wheels ;-)

Post by jfholm »

I went over to my cousin's house today and this car is in his garage. His son is working on it and built it for the guy. It has a 429 engine stroked to 514 cu. in. It is one sweet car!

First car i ever put headers on! On the ground with ramps. I still can feel the pain from the neck cramps trying to get the header bolts in..... that was 34 years ago.

This car does not have headers on it. Should I ask them if you can put headers on it for them Rick?

John, 514 CID and NO headers? I can tell you why! because it most likley has power stearing and you are just better of putting you hand on the welding table and taking a goo wack at it with the no bounce as it is less painfull in the long run. Those 385 series in a gen 2 Tuna Boat (Torino) were shoe horned in there. My first car was a Gen 1 69 Torion GT with FE just about the same to work on HAHAHA.
