Inches Pressure into PSI

Post by damunk »

Does 40" mean 40 inches water pressure.
If so when I convert this to bar then psi, that is only 0.14PSI

The digital manometers online stop reading anything above 2.0psi.
So any of those digital manometers will do?

An easy way to remember, 28 inches is very close to 1 Psi.

Yes, forty inches of pressure means forty inch column of water in a manometer tube.

Two psi will get you up to about 55 inches which will be fine for a flow bench..
Also known as the infamous "Warpspeed" on some other Forums.
