Here's the pictures of the rebirth of my 1972 flow bench. It began as a pile of pieces from storage.

Yeah, but with trouble. I had to replace the tube in the 5 ft. manometer, but I couldn't get the same hard plastic tube I used before, & decided I really didn't want too, after all it broke. So I got some flexible tubing, but it was metric and slightly bigger on the ID. Well it changed the calibration, made it short on readings by about 20%. Fixable by running a smaller element restriction, but I needed a baseline.

Years ago I had built a 1/2 scale restriction to run on the intake tube in place of a head for calibration, but I couldn't find it. I went over all my old tests, but didn't have access to most of the heads, except 1, a stock C1AE-A 390 Ford. I just happen to have a stock set, so I cleaned up a set of ports and used that for a baseline. I actually built 3 restrictors before I got it right, but now I'm getting reading that correlate to what I had "Back In The Day".

I guess I missed this one. I presume you mean flowing air under pressure.

I switch the main manometer hoses on the pressure element and reverse the lines on the pressure drop manometer and switch the hoses on the vacuum's from the suction side to the pressure side. I've always done my exhaust tests in this manner.
