Agree, All of the old Flow Bench guys were DIY guys including the founder of Super Flow when he could not afford to purchase a Commercial Bench like the Big 3 had at their engineering sites.

I really believe that the Superflow flow bench going into production was a pretty significant thing because it put the ability to measure and evaluate airflow into the hands of the hot rodder. Before that time flow benches were mostly all owned by very large companies. After the Superflow the performance levels of engines in classes that allowed cylinder head modifications increased a heck of a lot. Neil Williams' first bench that became the SF110 was a homebuilt design and I think that overall he did a great job for the early 1970's. Does anybody have a picture of that real early one that was in the lobby at Superflow?
