I'll second what Tony said! Forums have seemed to slow down in general across the net as a second form of social media, lots of reading here but slow on posting which includes myself

Hi everyone.
Been casually working heads for a while now and looking in to building a flow bench to confirm or deny flow improvements.
Looking to start super basic. I'll be scowering the forum for hints and tips.
Cheers

Hi,
Mike here from New Zealand, have ported a few cylinder heads over the years but have always wanted a flowbench to confirm my ideas.
Bought the plans a few months ago, converted to metric, and i am slowly collecting parts for the buildup.
Once everything is ready to go i plan on doing a small build thread.
Cheers everyone.

Hey Y'all! I'm new to the forum and to Flowbenches in general and I have a couple questions. I'm part of a competitive collegiate design team for snowmobiles and I'm trying to get flow data on our exhaust system. I'm running into some problems with the SuperFlow 300 the team was gifted. When I try to run it on intake, it keeps automatically shutting down. It will do the same thing on the exhaust setting, but it's most consistent with intake. If you let it sit long enough, it will start again, but it shut itself down after not even 10 seconds of running. I've run it in the past and have not had this issue. Any help/advice you guys can give is appreciated!
Also, I'm making do with what I information I can pull from the internet. Any additional information you guys can give about flow bench function, why 25-28" seems to be the standard, etc., would be awesome! Thanks in advance

Sounds to me like the thermal overload switch is bad?

Hello Iam new to the forum I saw that the owner of the site does plan and build these flow benches Iam into building go kart racing engines an have no way to test carbs so Iam forced to buy them from carb builders an I would love to get into doing my own stuff but I want to do it right I want to make sure when I do a carb it’s going to flow and perform great. Does PTS flow bench have plans for the small carbs thanks

How much flow in CFM are you looking to have capability for, the basic PTS bench plans can be scaled based on the # of motors you use to power it. Here is a link to my 8 motor build
