electric directional control valves

Hi guys.
I'm new here and purchased the plans in the last couple of days.

I'm going to make a couple of minor changes to the bench I build, although nothing to set the world on fire or change the intent of the build.
Mainly modify it to metric sizes and a square box for simplicity rather than the tapered front section.

One thing I do want to do however if change the directional control valves from manual to electric.
The reason for this is that I'm lazy, so I want to modify the directional plate and put a handle on the front (possibly 3d printed) which will have a magnet embedded in it which will line up with one or another hall effect sensor embedded within the cabinet.
Depending on which hall effect it lines up with will determine if the electric directional control valve sets to intake or exhaust.

There's some pretty smart guys on here. I'm good with the physical design/manufacture but need some help with the electronics.
Is anyone interested in helping to make something happen?

Greig
