PTS Flowbench Forum

I was thinking of this for current and future board members. Giving a small pic with a description and maybe a link to the old forum where the build was (if it is there), or the new one. This may help others get an idea of what direction to take, personal or PTS plans without extensive surfing or questions. If there is something that stands out for someone, it can be discussed in the appropriate section. Plus it gives a place to showcase each person's hard work. Good or bad idea??

This is a high capacity flowbench built with a steel skeleton. Direction changes are done with Becksom ports. The piece to the right is the wetflow attachment. It is also used as a workbench.

Hotz,
The 2 large white Becksoms access the measuring plates.
The left white Becksom also access the two 6" Becksoms inside the bench to change directions.
The 4 brown Becksoms also control direction but for the motors. The top two are open during intake testing, the two bottom two open for exhaust testing.
There are pictures of inside the bench before the modification at the link I posted above.

heres my "barracuda"! 7 motors from vacuum cleaners found around. maxes out at 300cfm@28". fully digital,with custom made triacs to adjust speed on the motors!

just about to build another one, with more space to more motors!
Thanx to bruce for making this affordable!

up for testing and porting is a pair of RHS-magnum heads! going on a 408 stroker, got em up in the 275cfm area before the valve-job.

heard lots Good about the RHS!

How are the air speed down the middle of the port at 275 cfm?.........What intake valve?

If you get a chance, would like to see the intake floor on that RHS head.

Also curious about that valve lift fixture in the picture.

I did not test it then, had no probe, but I have a set of EQ magnums who are wery similar, and I like them alot! I have a screen-shot of a program I have developed! I hope you understand the numbers. at this stage I'm not finishet with the port-work, only spent a few hours on the head! easy head to make good-flowing!

now that is a freggin nice flow sheet. i especially like the pics to get the customer involved and familiar with whats going on. are you offering this for sale or anything? if so can you pm me or emil me at jtldad@yahoo.com
