John that block looks like the old WIDE Block 318. You know, the one that look like a 440 with a whimsy 318 cubs in side it. i thing 66 was the last year of them, and they were HEAVY! so i don't know why they would have used it. Never knew Chy had a over head cam small block...well i guess that's not chry engine, really. first time i have heard about this eng.
Thanks John!

Seem I'm the last person to know about chy lates and grates, sense i quit twisting wrenches for chry :(
That is one Bad Ass Hell Cat!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Ray!

The 5.7 i was never a fan of. low Q on every thing, seen several shattered pistons with the rod banging around. the 6.1 was built like it should have been! forged rods crank and pistons
sounds like they have redesigned the block to with stand the Hell cat and even More.

FINALLY, SOME TRUE PRIDE AND POWER FROM MOTHER MOPAR

My first car. Bought it when I was 12 and still have it at 29. Learned a lot rebuilding the old girl.

A chopper I hand built from scratch a few years ago. Gas tank, springer, pipes, most everything else my own creation. Jockey shift kick only. The wooden floorboards were designed to double as the pedals for clutch and brake.

My current ride and test bed. Getting 74hp/75ft-lbs right now.
