She probably also doesn't say she was moved through the VA system in record time too with her claim ;) Her claim was 90 days if I recall what I read about her. I know lots of vets were talking about it at the time.

Took me 10 years to get mine through for a war connected claim and I had all documentation from Active Duty, the VA ran me through the wringer . . .

Now this is sweet to the ears. A Honda F1 on the dyno. Notice the rpm at the end of the video.

As my wife was unpacking some more of our stuff she came across this. It brought me back to a time when we did get it right. Can you all remember when we first stepped onto the moon's surface and it was being televised live? A friend of mine was on the USS Hornet for both the Apollo 11 & 12 recovery. A lot of people say they were faked but he saw them coming back and saw them being brought onto the deck from the ocean. Don't say they were faked to him! Every man on the ship got one of these mugs. He happened to be one of the supply clerks so he got me one. I cherish this mug. I am sure it will bring back some good memories to a lot of the guys on this forum.

sometimes you just have to go through your junk. It sure has taken me down memory lane. When I saw that mug, which I have not even thought of for a few years, I was taken back to 1969. Two years out of high school going to college, seeing bitchin' new Boss Mustangs and Z28 Camaros and seeing a man walk on the Moon. What could be better. :)
