Thanks for the input guys, yes I will make my own. I have some sheets of 15mm thick Perspex in the workshop so I will use that, I have some ally tube for corner posts for support and I will go to the local plumbing supply with my verniers and see what I can make work. When I get onto this job I will bust out a thread on how I'm going and get some opinions.

I bought some PVC .500" thick (14 mm) sheet from amazon.com. Oh my it is over $8 dollars cheaper now http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000MAMGFU/ref=biss_dp_t_asn only $22.82 USD now - Since I am doing a small block Chevy I just bought some 4" pvc pipe and used pvc cement and glued it together. Works great and pvc is very easy to work with.

What would add to the "collective" would be the hole patterns for various heads???

I'm game for a PTS Flowbench Forum designed head stand for the masses with it's own area on the forum or pinned thread :)

I can help out a bit with that project. I like the idea of a bolt pattern thread too.

This is exactly what my adaptors look like in PVC and can be built for about $30-$35
I will try to post a photo tomorrow.
