I'm not sure if anyone is still tossing up ideas on bench design, but I for one can recommend the pts plans.
My flowbench is now working, calibrated and pulling some big numbers.
This 3 phase 12 motor bench pulls 838 cfm @ 28" and can run at 85".
It is a pts design with material and structural changes to cope with high depression.
This is the fourth bench I have constructed and by far the most accurate and consistant.

Thanks Bruce and Tony for all your help along the way.
