Traditional Bench Design
Flowbench Plans on a "Budget"
This bench can be built in a more traditional flowbench style as seen here. Drawings for this design are not supplied in the plans at this time.
The "Traditional Design" would allow you to use water gage manometers either purchased or made from scratch using the info found on the Flowbench Forum.
Most any vacuum blower motor can be used in either design, which would allow you to source them from most anywhere. A shop-vac could also be used making minor cabinet modifications and at a later time upgraded.
2-8 blower motors can be used depending on your flow needs, budget and power. You can start with 2 and add more as required at a later time.
The bench could also be setup to use a shop vacuum (at a reduced flow depression) and can be upgraded to vacuum blower motors at a later time.
There is no elaborate orifice disk in this design so the orifice plate can be a simple round hole in a 6" square plate to start with. You can always upgrade at a later time.
Flow depression is controlled via electric motor control in the plans, but a manual bleed valve can be used. I'll be adding a drawing for this in the near future. Although the electric control is around $20.
If you would like something special the plans are highly modifiable
and can be changed to meet someone's requirements,
please feel free to email me to discuss options.

Some additional styles the bench can be made like
